Requirments to be eligable for Apprentice/Padawan Rank
Jedi Apprentice Trials
Trial of Peace - You must mediate a dispute fairly so that no conflict may come to pass
Objective -
Trial of Knowledge - You must show a thirst and respect for knowledge, and attempt to use your intellect to help others
Objective -
Trial of Serinity - You must prove that you are truly at peace, so you may fully undertake the path of a jedi
Objective -
Trial of Harmony - You must show that you are in tune with all living things, and that you are ready to assist and protect all living beings

The Five Knight Trials
Once your have completed the requirements and your Master feels your ready he/she may bring you before the Council and request permission to start your Trials. These will be determined by your Master but will follow the guide lines of what is shown below
Trial of Courage - to pass this trial you must undertake and complete difficult tasks
Trial of Flesh - to pass this trial you must defeat supperior foes in battle
Trial of Spirit - to pass this trial you must learn the secrets of meditation and how to follow the force when it guides you
Trial of Insight - to pass this trial you must be able to see the outcome of your decisions and use that insight to make the right ones
Trial of Skill - to pass this trial you must be able to duel a liftime member of the council and show that you are able to last aginst a supierior opponet for a period of time

Master Trials
You must either train an Apprentice to full Knight Rank or you may choose to have the Council give you a set of Trials determined by the Council
Class Master
You must complete a trial dtermined by the Master of your Class

The Knighting Ceremony was an ancient ritual dating back to the beginnings of the Order's history. Only the Council can promote an Apprentice to the Rank of Knight. After Passing the Trials a Jedi is assigned a date for the Ceremony to take place. Only the Apprentice being Knighted the Council and the Training Master are allowed to attend the Ceremony.
In addition to raising an Apprentice to the rank of Knight the Council would also perform the Ceremony for raising a Knight to the Rank of Master
